Welcome to Kazue Tsukikawa MD LLC (formerly Gesshinkai Hawaii), I am Dr. Kazue Tsukikawa. I received my medical degree from Kitasato University in Sagamihara, Japan. I have been practicing medicine for over 25 years. I first trained to be an ophthalmologist in Japan for five years then shortly after I studied for four years to be an OBGYN at the University of Fukushima. Because there is no family medicine in Japan, I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a family physician after coming to Hawaii.

 

I like to emphasize a basic management of daily lifestyle to my patients. This includes a balanced diet and exercise to keep healthy. Besides specializing in family medicine, I have a passion for women’s health. Due to the structure of Japanese culture, women always come second behind men. I want women to understand and take control of their own healthcare.
